Epoxy resins are thermosetting polymers with cold reaction. The resins of Epilox® line, produced by Leuna-Harze and distributed by Oxipol, are characterized by excellent physical properties and excellent chemical resistance.
The epoxy resins are usually used in combination with specific hardeners that allow them to form cross-linked, thermosetting compounds, with exceptional mechanical, chemical and electrical level of performance. The choice of the type of resin and type of hardener therefore becomes the necessary step in order to achieve high performance of use.
Reactive diluents are used for diluting high-viscosity epoxy resins based on bisphenols and novolacs. The use of reactive diluents improves properties such as processing viscosity, pot life and wettability of pigments or additives.
